Did you know there are people who take on a small business to better command the cash they earn on their current jobs? Are you aware that the government realizes it takes money to make money? Believe it or not, there are tax incentives for people who make attempts to better their lives by attempting some type of business. People who venture into any one of the following paths; entrepreneurship, self-employment or business ownership often discover the benefits of such a move. Many multi-level marketing programs offer opportunities to fall into a category that allows you to write-off expenses that qualify you for using a 1099 form. There are literally hundreds of tax write-offs for those who use a 1099, Schedule C or other business tax incentives. I am NOT suggesting you begin looking at ways to commit tax fraud. I am strongly encouraging you to examine means for escaping the single-pay or one-income stream condition without adding additional costs to your possible endeavors. A percent of your cell-phone, vehicle expenses (all vehicle costs), mortgage (if home office is created), cost of attire (from purchase to laundry expenses), travel, restaurant bills and more may….. just fall into a category for tax write-offs. If you are not aware of what I am referencing, begin researching means of reducing your tax liabilities.

Let me say this, I am not a tax accountant nor am I a licensed professional on these matters. I can say from experience that the power of being able to manage my finances as a business owner comes with many benefits. It requires discipline and keeping up with expenses with a well generated plan for growing a business but the government knows this and the tax laws are designed to encourage business creation, business investments and or business growth.

With the rise of the information age, it would not take too much research to discover what is acceptable versus prohibited when it comes to being an individual who add a 1099 or Schedule C or another business component to their everyday lives. The time is now to climb out of the box and let your ideas be tested. Search out other means for growing your income. Search out the many opportunities for reducing your tax burdens in order to invest your money into supplemental income streams or transition into a different method for earning a primary income altogether.

Take the “let’s do something different Team Challenge”. Challenge family, friends, co-workers, church members, club members, fraternity brothers or sorority sisters, etc. to a collective cash finding goal. Establish some guidelines for finding cash from things you no longer use. It would be like one big garage sale but in this case, expand beyond the driveway; take pictures and send to those in your circle. Sell the items that have no real use to you any longer; create a virtual private auction to those within your network. There will be more money for you or your group; be brave take the leap into a well-inviting challenge. Agree to share any savings or cash made off this challenge, make it exciting. If this “let’s do something different Team Challenge” prove to be worth the end results, make a plan to do it periodically. Consider repeating this challenge once, twice or three times a year; avoid making it old and boring, KEEP it Exciting!

There are no doubts that our economy has changed, making it next to impossible to not take care of ourselves but also a family. The age-old model for one check has left the building so-to-speak. I want to challenge you to begin considering that you are not alone regarding finding ways to make money. Regardless of what anyone tell you; there are skills you have now that can be rewarding. Traditional stories are if you don’t have an education; you won’t be able to get a job. The time now is to break that myth. There are statistics promoted that state people with post-secondary from Bachelor Degrees to Doctoral Diplomas make more money than those without a degree. This may hold true for professional designations like doctor, lawyers, engineers and other positions which require specific qualifications but making money has many avenues to venture.

There are no rules forcing you to pursue income all by yourself. Are you ready to escape self-pity? Are you ready to come away from the status quo who judge you wrongly? Are you ready to escape poverty at its worst if applicable? Are you prepared to do what is necessary to avoid falling into a generational poverty state?

Welcome to the 21st century where traditional molds are being shattered daily. Strongly consider inviting others into your life to bounce ideas off for pursuing your income streams. You do not have to go it alone, learn to use the resources available. The world is very large, information as well as competition is fierce, however; there is room for YOU, yes You, bring it on... step into your rewards fearlessly.

First make a commitment to yourself to change your current condition. Next begin weighing all the opportunities that exist. Use your computer or mobile device and begin doing your research. Work your plan, adjust your plan while at the same time seek out those who desire to see you succeed.

The time is now to recognize your current financial position; use this as a starting point and begin to rise above the NOW by using all that have empowered you. Ask questions….. identify and build a network of people of like mind.

Ready to begin the job search? Seeking the career of your dream?
A good tip is to write or type at least ten questions to ask during the interview process.
Keep mind these are questions important to you. Be advised, there will from time to time; be interviewers who are intimidated by questions. A good rule of thumb, if you are uncertain to present your questions;  have them ready in the event the interviewer asks you if you have any questions for them.

Below are examples of questions you may want to consider:

1. Can you describe the position in detail to me?
2. What methods of training will I receive?
3. What will be the chain-of-command?
4. Can you describe your company’s dress codes?
5. What are the immediate goals of the company at it relates to this position?
6. How often are performance reviews conducted?
7. Will there be opportunities for advancement?
8. How do your pay-cycles run?
9. How soon are you looking to fill the position?
10. Will I be informed of your decision?

Remember the above questions represent an example of queries you can present to your next perspective employer. Make it a 2-way (two-way) interview and discover how it will make a difference when starting your next job or career. Avoid the “I wish I would have known this before I took the job!” statement. Save yourself the disappointment of quitting one job only to discover; it might have been a big mistake.

By considering this strategy, it may spare you the disruption in managing your personal budget as a result of changing jobs too frequently. Employment leads to paychecks which lead to making payments on time. It's time to be more equipped when transitioning from one job to the next.
